Birthday wishes

Hello everyone! 
This post won't be about Christmas time or Christmas cards, but I will show you one simple birthday card I made for my special friend, who loves everything about planes :) 

Card is made on recycled paper onto which I stamped a lovely plane stamp, dropping birthday presents :)

She liked the card and that matters to me :)

Winter vibes with snowmen

Hello everybody,

Christmas is coming and it seems we're not going to have any snow for it.

We had snow last week, but after two rainy days it's almost gone.

That's why I used some snow on my next Christmas card. I used embossing powder for snow effect and then put three cute snowmen on top.

It's yet again simple card, but those are my favorites :)

Christmas sock #2

How have you been?
Here it's winter time with quite some snow and low temperatures.

Last two days I have been in bed with fever, but am feeling better today, so, I have decided to do a card or two.

Another snowman

Good evening to all! 


It's snowing here and now it feels like winter!

Few days ago I made another snowman Christmas card and it's time for me to show it to you :) 

It's simple, small and not in square shape :) 

Inside I used a stamp with statement on paper like I used on first page.

Christmas sock

 Hello everybody :) 

Today, on this grey Saturday morning, I took some time for me and made one lovely, Christmas card in shape of a sock :)

I found a template in one magazine a while ago, but forget that I have it. Today I was cleaning my desk and I found the template :) Here is what it came out :)

I like the sock a lot and for sure it's not my last one :)

The stamp at the top says "Full sock of best wishes" and it's on the right spot :)

Seasons greetings

Hello my friends,
 
it has been a while since my last post, but here I am again with another Christmas card.
 
I used some papers I got in a magazine, sparkels and lovely gold ribbon.
 

 
This time I made inside of a card as well. I used the same paper from a magazine.

 There are few more Christmas cards waiting on post, but will do that on coming days.

Snowman #2

Hello again :)

This is my second post today :)
As I said in the morning, I made two cards yesterday and here is the second one :)

I made another card with Snowman :)

I am a bit limited with my supplies, so I am trying my best to do cute cards :)

 

I used embossing powder for backgound, cut paper, glue the snowman on and I add one jingle bell :)
In the end, it came out as a lovely Christmas card :)

Good Sunday morning to all!

Before will start ironing (something I don't like to do), I've decided to write few lines and post one of two Christmas cards I made yesterday.

This card is simple, but I kind of like it...

I used Crafter's companion Noel stamp, cut it around, coloured it and clue it on light blue background paper.

On paper I stamp one of Vladka's stamp and used 3D foams :)

For snow effect I used embossing powder and this is the result :)

I made silver envelope and so the card is ready to be send :)

Snowman

Hello everybody!

Today I made a snowman card. I used Cottage cuts for the first time and I love it.

I used blue card and cut out the landscape. I used hot embossing for snow effect :) On small snowflakes I put a little gems.
I cut two snowmen and used 3D pads to put him together.

For the end used a lovely winter stamp that I bought from Vladka

Card is simple, but cute.

Earrings

Hello to all!

This post won't be about cards, but earrings :)

I got a simple tutorial - you can find it on Mavelu page - and decided to give it a go :)

I made 3 pair of earrings and coz' they turned out really cute, I will make more of them in the future :)

These are with dots, as you can see.

Next one are with pink stripes

And the last pair is winter theme with snow flakes

You can buy supplies to make this cute earrings in Mavelu store :)

Christmas workshop #3

Hello!
 
Today we are celebrating Reformation day, which means NO work for us today :)
Tomorrow we have All Saints day, so another day free of work too :)
It's great to have two days off :) Woohoo!!!
 
Today we're going to Vienna, Austria by car to pick up my Estonian friend :) She is coming to Slovenia for one week holidays and I'm really excited seeing her :)
We're going to have a good time together :)
 
But before I'll get ready, here is another post with another, cute Christmas card we made last Friday at Christmas workshop :)
 

I really like this snowman, though I couldn't decided which of three cards is my favorite one. I love them all and I had lots of fun making them all :)

Christmas workshop #2

Christmas workshop

Hello everyone :)

 

Last Friday I went to Christmas workshop that was organized by Marina, who has her own on line shop - you can find it on this link: http://www.mavelu.com/ 

 

We made 3 wonderful Christmas cards and learned many new things - at least I did it.

3 hours passed by really quickly and I could easily stay another hour or two :)

I will show you in coming days all three cards we made :)

And I will enter some challenges with some as well :)

Here is the first card I will show you.

We used the set Partridge & A Pear Tree Cut, pearls, distress ink and a stamp for lovely vintage background.

I love this card a lot. It's simple, but elegant :)

Birthday goodies

Hello to all!

This post will be short, but I wanted to show you all the goodies I got from my friends for my birthday :D

Polymer clay necklaces

I was not only making cards, but also made two, similar, just in different color combination necklaces. One I made for a girl that bought the necklace at auction for animal shelter and the second one (the one in red) I made for my friend's BD.

 

 

 

 

I have lots of fun doing this necklaces :)

Now I got some new tools and more FIMO polymer clay for my birthday I had few days ago (I got many more other goodies for stamping, like heat gun, embossing powder, ink pads, two very cute Me To You rubber stamps and some papers :D)

 

 

I am looking forward trying new tehniques - in card making and lewelry making :)

I can't wait.

 

Hopefully I will be a better girl and update my blog much more often :)

Poppy

It has been a long (too long) time since my last post :( I have been ill, sometimes lazy, sometimes tired and sometimes busy...and so the days, weeks have been passing by!

However, I managed to do little somthing and here is one of the simple cards I made for my grandma's birthday :)

Tokrat sem se odločila, da bom spekla SACHER torto :) 

Naredila sem jo že večkrat in vedno jo vsi pohvalijo. V bistvu jo vedno tako hitro zmanjka, da je nikoli ne uspem fotografirati :P 

Ko bo pečena ta, za Horjulče, jo bo :)

Zapuščene živali / Abandoned animals

Včeraj sem našla stran na Facebooku, ki ima trenutno licitacije za pomoč zapuščenim živalim. Na take licitacije se vedno rada odzvem in tudi tokrat sem se odločila, da vsaj malo pomagam. 

Na licitacije sem dala eno ogrlico iz FIMO mase, ki jo bom naredila po željah najvišjega ponudnika. 

V kolikor bi tudi vi radi pomagali zapuščenim živalim, lahko v licitacijah sodelujete na naslednjem naslovu: LICITACIJE :) Trajajo do 11.9.2012

Yesterday I came across to one page on Facebook where they are collecting the money with help of auction. I love to help animal shelters on auctions if only I can. This time I've decided to make a necklace from FIMO clay. The highest bidder will chose the colours itself :) 

Let's hope my necklace will bring some money for abandoned animals and will make their lives easier and happier! 

Nakit / Jewellery

Poleg čestitk in drugih kartic, pa sem se preizkusila tudi v izdelavi nakita s FIMO maso.

Pravijo, da poletje ni pravi čas za gnetenje FIMO mase, tako, da čakam hladnejše tedne, a dokler ni bilo tako zelo vroče, pa je nastalo naslenje :)

I have tried to make some jewellery by making it with FIMO clay. Summer is not the best time to work with FIMO, so I am now waiting for colder days :) But before it got so hot, I managed to make few things.
And here they are :)

Vsi izdelki imajo zdaj nove lastnike :)
All these products have new, hopefully happy owners :)

Dosedanje kartice / My cards

Blog sem ustvarila, da sem se lahko prijavila na izziv, ki ga je organizirala Vladka :)
To ni bil moj prvi izziv, a sem z objavo slik na prejšnje izzive imela kar nekaj težav, tako, da je bil blog dobra rešitev :)
Čeprav kartic ne izdelujem dolgo časa, je kljub temu pred blogom nastalo nekaj čestitk, katere bom objavila prav danes.
Ker še nimam prav veliko pripomočkov, so čestitke bolj enostavne, preproste, a vseeno simpatične :)

Tale je moja čisto prva :)

I created blog, so I could easily apply on challenges. I applied on challenges before, but had some problems with adding links...so, creating a blog was simply solution :)
However, before my first post on this blog, I made few cards for different occassion. And I will show you some of them in this post.
Since I don't have many supplies, my cards are simple and think anyway cute :)

To je za 1x moja skromna zbirka čestitk. No, nastale so še nekatere, ki pa so bile predane predno sem jih uspela fotografirat.
A nič zato, v prihodnje bodo nastajale nove čestitke!

This is so far my card collection. I did make few more, but were sent away before I managed to take the photos.
However, I will make many more of them in the future :)

Bonbonček / Giveaway

Pa jo imam - srečo, namreč :) Že nekajkrat sem se prijvila v razne izzive in na bonbončke, a do včeraj še nisem imela sreče. A treba je biti vztrajen, pravijo...

Včeraj, ko sva se vrnila iz morja (kjer sva naredila dva lepa potopa), sem malo pobrskala po internetu in preverila tudi h Klari na njen blog kako se je končal žreb. 

Ko sem videla, da so me male, čarobne rokice izžrebale, sem bila zelo, zelo vesela :) 

Well, I have it - luck :) I applied to some challenges and giveaways in the past, but have never been lucky enough to win a prize. But of course, that's not the reason to give up. And so I entered another giveaway, this time on Klara page :) 
Yesterday when we came from the seaside, where we did two dives, I checked her page and saw I was one of 3 winners :) I guess I don't need to explain how happy I was...and still am :) I got lovely Embossing borders and I am looking forward to get them and use them :)

Ko me inspirira...#4/ I'm inspired by...#4

Moja prva objava/My first post

Naredila sem preprosto čestitko z motivom cvetlic, odtisnjenih na bel papir, ki sem ga kasneje odrezala s pomočjo nožkov za Big Shot. Na modro čestitko sem prilepila modro ozadnje z nežnimi in majhnimi cvetlicami, nanj pa s 3D penicami prilepila še odtis.
Čeprav je preprosta, mi je končni izdelek všeč.

My first post I will use to apply my card to "I'm inspired by...#4" by host Vladka.
I made simpl card with flower motive, which I stamped on white paper, which was later cut with dies for Big Shot. For base I took simpy blue card onto which I put blue background paper with light green flowers. Onto that I put the cut with 3D foam.
It is simpl, but I like it. Hopefully you like it too and will keep coming checking my blog :)
